We had beautiful weather for the weekend. Just a brief spritz of rain on Saturday afternoon that didn't spoil anything. Friday night we went to the Westside Diner in Grayling for dinner then attended a presentation at the state park about logging in the 1800's. The presenter was dressed in period costume and the audience members all became lumberjacks for the evening. On Saturday the program was about the CCC camps in the late '30's and early '40's and again the audience became CCC members. The meeting was held on Saturday morning following coffee and donuts at the camp host location. There were eight in attendance of which five wanted to be charter members of the new chapter.
